GTmetrix has a lot of infor regarding your sites, and from the data sent and receiving from the DNS server, and reaching out to the Service Provider, and send back to the Client, and including all detail data.

You can ignore some scores, some of them are not relevant, only consider to reduce the requests number, time of response, and total size

Before testing, clean up your browser cache.

Thinkwithgoolge is accurate speed, and each time you change the setting your site, you should test it there, so it will not impact in speed

Remove the plugins that you don’t need, definitely help
If you suspect some plugins are the cause, remove it, and adjust some settings accordingly.
